Making a goal is easy, dreaming is effortless, however the hard work and building of good habits isn’t. Why is that? Because people quit when things don’t happen overnight, it’s not a priority and/or they never really gave it a real try. If becoming balanced and healthy was easy, everyone would live the life they always dreamed of. Now when I say building good habits, I mean a sustainable lifestyle, not you forcing yourself daily to eat your greens, smile or make it to the gym, hating every second of it. I am talking about enjoying the process of building a healthy life for yourself with no more quitting, starting over or little white lies to yourself on how you’ll start tomorrow, then tomorrow turns into a month later, a year later, maybe even never.
This is the start to the new you, the one who can set a goal and reach it, the one who will look forward to their gym session, even the one who becomes a role model for someone else. I am going to teach you “How To Love The Process And Make It A Lifestyle” from my own experiences as well as others. It won’t be easy but if you acknowledge what your weaknesses are, work at strengthening them and stay consistent it will become second nature to you. Let’s get started!
Before getting started, I want to give thanks to those who have helped me learn how to love myself, my family and loved ones who showed patience and love when I wasn’t the easiest person to understand. Also to those who challenge me daily to became a stronger and wiser young woman. Without these people I do not know where I would have ended up or what kind of person I would have become. For that I am very thankful.
While you read this there might be times where you think negatively of someone for not having the same values as you or simply do not understand. As you go through this process you must be patient with those people as well. If they continue to knock you down after you express how much it means to you with no effort of change, then maybe it is time to let them go. There is nothing wrong with going separate ways in life. Its called growth. If those people start to understand, you will become thankful for their support as their challenge helped shape you into the new you.
